18′ Lehmann (Arsenal) is dismissed. The German international is dismissed after fouling Eto`o on the edge of the Arsenal penalty box. The ball runs on to Giuly who slots in, but the referee’s whistle had already blown. Lehmann becomes the first ever player to be sent off in a European Cup final.
18′ Almunia (in) – Pirès (out) (Arsenal) The French veteran is sacrificed as Manuel Almunia comes on to make his sixth appearance of the competition.
22′ Eboué (Arsenal) is cautioned by the referee. The right-back is penalised as he goes in high in midfield and Henry rushes to calm his young team-mate down.
37′ Campbell (Arsenal) scores! The 31-year-old scores only his third goal in 21 UEFA Champions League appearances, rising high to power in Henry’s well-flighted free-kick in emphatic style. The ten men lead.
46′ Iniesta (in) – Edmílson (out) (Barcelona) An attacking change by Wenger with the more attack-minded Andrés Iniesta entering the fray.
51′ Henry (Arsenal) is shown a yellow card. The Arsenal captain becomes the second player to be cautioned by Norwegian referee Terje Hauge as his trailing leg sends Van Bommel tumbling.
61′ Larsson (in) – Van Bommel (out) (Barcelona) Another attacking change from Rijkaard, who begins to throw caution to the wind, bringing on Swedish striker Larsson for his last ever game with the Spanish champions.
69′ Oleguer (Barcelona) is booked. The beleaguered right-back is shown a yellow card after yet another foul as he struggles to deal with the threat of Ljungberg.

74′ Flamini (in) – Fabregas (out) (Arsenal) The flagging Spanish midfielder is taken off as Mathieu Flamini, who has played at right-back for so much of this campaign, comes on in a more familiar midfield role.
76′ Eto’o (Barcelona) scores! The Cameroonian equalises with a calmly-taken shot after Larsson’s deft pass finds him in space. It is the first goal Arsenal have conceded in eleven games in this competition and with their superior numbers, Barcelona will be favourites to win now.
81′ Belletti (Barcelona) scores! The substitute chooses a prime to score his first ever goal for the Catalan side, and again it is Larsson that provides the defence-splitting pass. The Swede turned on the edge of the area, working the ball through to Juliano Belletti who fires through Almunia’s legs.
85′ Reyes (in) – Hleb (out) (Arsenal) An attacking change by Wenger, who side are five minutes, plus any added time, from losing this UEFA Champions League final after a valiant effort.
90’+3′ Larsson (Barcelona) is cautioned by the referee. The Swede is penalised as he delays Almunia’s attempted clearance and Arsenal pile players forward for what is surely their last opportunity of the match.
